Fork Milling Head Series

The fork milling head has the ability to simultaneously position the cutter in space by controlling the A-axis and the C-axis at the same time. By combining the movements of the two axes, the fork milling head can position the cutter in any desired position in space, allowing complex and precise cuts on the workpiece. CYSPEED Motor Spindles

At the heart of every CYMILL milling head works a CYSPEED motor spindle, developed and manufactured in-house by CYTEC. The modular spindle kit covers 13 to 115 kW rated power (S1), rated torques up to 700 Nm – up to 1,200 Nm with planetary gear – and speeds up to 24,000 rpm, with HSK-A63, HSK-A100, SK50 and C8 tool interfaces. This in-house spindle development is a key reason for the precision and reliability of CYMILL heads.
