Our universal milling heads with direct drive technology excel with incredibly fast acceleration values and unprecedented precision – positioning accuracy is around 0.0005°. Compact and flexible milling heads mean greater utilisation of the available workspace, and thanks to the integration of cutting-edge CYTEC spindle technology, our spindles can be used for both pure milling and rotational milling.

Motor Spindles

CYTEC's modular motor-driven spindles from the „modular kit“ can be configured specifically for your application and manufactured per customer specifications – covering almost the entire spectrum of conceivable processing tasks:

Asynchronous/synchronous motors with a performance range from 8 to 76 kW; a planetary gear allows torque values of up to a maximum of 1,150 Nm.

NC Tables

Upgrade your 3-axis CNC machining center with CYTEC's direct-drive, high-speed rotary tables and unlock the full potential of 4- and 5-axis machining. With one- or two-axis NC top-mounted rotary tables, you extend the capabilities of your machining center – in toolmaking, mold construction, or machine building.

Built to be robust and highly durable, CYTEC rotary tables are available in various diameters up to 2,000 mm and support high speed-turning up to 1,000 rpm – suitable as rotary, milling, or grinding tables.

Torque Motors

CYTEC optimized them once more as the latest generation of direct drives for rotating and swivel axes. Distinctive characteristics of the series are performance, precision and a high amount of reliability together with enormous power and dynamics.

The advantages benefit not only ambitious machining operations, but especially high speed-turning up to 1,000 rpm.

Locking & Core Pull Cylinders

The origin of the CYTEC success story: as specialist and patent holder for locking cylinders, CYTEC offers mechanically locking core pull cylinders and hydraulic cylinders for injection molding and die casting.

The form-fit mechanical locking holds full force without hydraulic pressure – available in round and block designs, with position sensing and numerous configuration options.

Hydraulic Clamping Systems

Hydraulic clamping systems for backlash-free clamping of linear guideways, shafts, spindles and rotary axes. High holding forces and outstanding rigidity keep machine tool axes securely in position – even under heavy cutting loads.
